These 3" x 5" color photos depict the story of Santa's sleigh ride delivering Christmas presents "The Night Before Christmas". The 15 photos are in the proper sequence of the "Kodachrome" color slides telling the classic children's story. The last listed picture shows the original complete set of 35 mm color slide pictures mounted on standard 2" x 2" cardboard frames from which these photos were made (slide pictures not included). Color picture slides were first invented in Germany in 1916, although WW I prevented their world wide distribution until 1920. For years the slides were first displayed by use of a lantern. In 1935 Eastman Kodak produced the first 35 mm slide pictures, with the first "Kodachrome" 35 mm color slides released in 1936.
