This is an 1884 Silver Rupee minted in Kabul Afghanistan under the rule of Abdur Rahman. It is difficult to find this coin minted in this year, and difficult to find any of these rupee's in similar condition.
The coin what is technically a minting or hammering "error" in that the metal split under the pressure of its being pressed. However, the result of the strong hit is high relief details and a gorgeous one of a kind piece.
It is a thick and heavy little coin and generally totally awesome in hand.
