Rare and interesting, "1940 Dec 8, Sunday News Supplement - Christmas Carol Edition, and Ads from Lancaster, Pennsylvania."   This edition contains 32 pages, and like most newspapers, it is unbound.   It measures approx. 11-1/4” x 8-1/8”.
This lovely publication is a combination of Christmas Carols, and advertising.  Put out on Sunday, Dec. 8, it gives families about two weeks to shop with the advertisers in the newspaper. And of course on top of that it has a lovely design on the front, and includes 15 of the most popular Christmas Carols around.   It is designed so families could even take it with them while doing their seasonal Christmas caroling.
This newspaper is in very good condition.  It has one main flaw, and that is that the newsprint it is printed on, is quite fragile.  A previous owner repaired it in several places with archival  tape. The spine is very sound.  And the print within this publication is clear, crisp and easy to read.  No foxing.

Very seldom a package will get "stuck" in customs for as much as

We mail all packages in a timely manner. But a
