    Description

Dear Customers-Please read the description Carefully and view the pictures as they are also part of the description. Please email me w/any questions!!! Thank You
You are viewing a wonderful piece -It is vintage circa 1950s-From The Metro Sunday Newspaper Productions Department-This is handmade-  Original art design from here-  I believe not only did they sell National ADvertising space in both the comic sections and the magazine supplements of the papers as the New York Sunday News etc but they were in control of many of the Sunday Comic Strips such as Dick Tracy etc- Anything I have from the Metro Productions Department was from someone that worked there-When he left the Army in WW2 he got a job at Metro and stayed there until he retired   He was a decorated war hero and I believe he never made this public as I found all of his paperwork etc after he died- Joseph Cafarella was his name-and he lived in Queens New York   Okay getting back to this piece It isnt in perfect cond as it was folded and I found it this way.Marked on the back Production 4-Measurements are as follows-12 inches by 18 inches   Framed this would make a lovely addition to any Sunday Comic Strip Collector,Metro Newspaper Collection and other paper and art advertising collection  Please email me w/any collection   Thank You and Happy Shopping!
