    Description

    Available here is a
souvenir newspaper distributed at the astronaut Neil Armstrong (1930-2012) homecoming at Wapakoneta, Ohio on Saturday, September 6, 1969
following his history-making landing and walk on the moon on July 20 of that year.  More than 80,000 visitors greeted Armstrong at that event, with Bob Hope serving as marshal.
I believe that the paper was distributed folded, as shown in the images.  The paper is four pages and includes an extensive biography of Neil, pictures of his boyhood home and school in Wapakoneta, a map of the parade route, etc.   The folded dimensions are about 11 1/4 by 7 3/4 inches. The paper is in excellent condition; the only notable condition issue is a bit of foxing or browning of the pages due to age.
Careful packaging and shipping via USPS First Class Mail is FREE.
