Antique French Sterling Silver Cutlet Bone Holder Set
in original presentation box, in excellent condition!
OFFERED FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION is this truly lovely
Antique French Sterling Silver Cutlet Bone Holder Set
of completed 6 pieces in its original presentation box. The silver handle has most opulent Rococo Revival style
rocaille
scallop border and scroll with floral and foliage accents. The top part is metal chrome or metal silver-plated, having tulip-shaped bone holder with screw fastener, all original and is in working condition. Maker's mark is too small and not legible, but the original presentation case bears retailer's name; Ve. Deutsch, Joeillier-Orfèvre, 190 Fg.St-Honoré (Faubourg Saint-Honoré), Paris. Excellent condition, ready for use, collect and display.
Hallmarked
French Boar's Head
mark on each piece, which guaranteed at least .800 purity of solid silver, used in Paris since 1838, for small silver (including sterling) items.
