Μανώλης Γλέζος (1922-2020). Ήρωας της ελληνικής Εθνικής Αντίστασης κατά των Γερμανών Κατακτητών. Το 1941, μαζί με τον Λακη Σάντα, κατέβασε τη χιτλερική σημαία από την Ακρόπολη και έδωσε πρώτος το σύνθημα της εθνικής αντίστασης στην Ελλάδα και σε όλη την κατεχόμενη Ευρώπη. Μετά τον πόλεμο καταδιώχτηκε άγρια λόγων των αριστερών του ιδεών και καταδικάστηκε σε θάνατο. Πέθανε σε ηλικία 98 ετών. Η εφημερίδα αναφέρεται σε μια από τις πολλές συλλήψεις του, με τη βλακώδη κατηγορία της... κατασκοπίας υπέρ της Σοβιετικής Ένωσης!
Manolis Glezos (1922-2020). Hero of the Greek National Resistance against the German Conquerors. In 1941, along with Lakis Santa, he lowered the Hitlerian flag from the Acropolis and first introduced the slogan of national resistance in Greece and throughout occupied Europe. After the war he was harshly persecuted by his leftist ideas and sentenced to death. He died at the age of 98. The newspaper refers to one of his many arrests, with the stupid charge of ... espionage in favor of the Soviet Union!
