Presented is an antique, English sterling silver gravy or sauce ladle made by William Eley & William Fearn of London in 1807. This very early 19th century, Georgian piece is done in a classic form. The ladle is not monogrammed.
The back is marked with the crowned leopard's head for London, a lion passant for sterling silver purity, a duty mark of the king's head, a date letter M for the year 1807 and a maker's mark for William Eley & William Fearn.
This piece is in excellent overall condition for its age.
