    Description

    Presented is a highly decorative, sterling silver serving spoon made by S. Kirk & Son during the 1920s or 1930s. This piece is in the Repousse pattern, which was originally patented in 1828 and is still currently in production. The whole front of the handle is completely covered with highly raised repousse flowers and leaves. The ruffled or fluted bowl is cast with fruits and flowers. The decorations are very finely detailed.
    The back is marked S. Kirk & Son and sterling.
    This piece is in fabulous overall condition and the designs are extremely crisp. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.
    The spoon measures 9 1/8 inches long and weighs 117 grams or 4.1 ounces.
