You are buying a nice starter set of vintage American sterling silver flatware direct from a private estate. The set includes sixty-one (61) pieces total. Including: 12 dinner knives (8 1/2"), 13 dinner forks (7"), 13 salad forks (6 3/8"), 19 teaspoons (6 1/8"), 2 serving spoons (8 1/4"), 1 gravy ladle (6 1/4") and 1 jelly spoon (6 1/4"). I have not identified the pattern name, but all match with a simple elegant pointed end. All pieces are monogrammed with fancy script "P". Each is well marked with the Dominick & Haff logo and the name Bailey, Banks, Biddle Company. Guaranteed old. Not reproduction junk. Guaranteed solid sterling silver (well marked), with the exception of the knives. They have sterling silver handles only. The blade are marked "Brilliant". The total gross weight of the set is 1901g. NOTE:The dinner knives are NOT included in the weight. Overall, the set is in very good (NOT MINT or EXCELLENT) condition void of major damage. There are signs of wear consistent with age and do need polished. The set is priced well under melt value scrap price, but once polished could be proudly used as is or offered for resale. NOTE:You are buying the sterling flatware only. The wooden safe seen in the pictures is NOT included.
