Replaceable Toe and Heel Pads:
This is a must-have for skiers that don't live in ski in/ski out condos. When your ski tech tells you that you have to buy new boots because the soles are worn down too much, just laugh at him and tell him to order you a new set of sole plates.
40 Flex Index:
These boots are very forgiving and are best suited for beginners and lower intermediate skiers who ski at slow to moderate speeds on groomed runs.
3M Thinsulate Insulation:
A lightweight, completely re-engineered liner with 3M Thinsulate Insulation keeps feet warm and responsive even in extremely cold and damp conditions. Thinsulate Platinum surrounds the whole foot while standard Thinsulate is placed in the toe box only.
Tongue Pull:
A loop of fabric at the top of the tongue helps in putting on and removing the boots. Pull it forward and to the side and your foot should slide right in.
101mm Last:
A performance width for advanced recreational skiers all the way up to expert level skiers. This is also suitable for skiers with narrower than average feet.
Atomic Bronze Liner:
The Bronze liner is extremely plush and will conform to the skier's foot over time. This liner is sort of a middle ground between a rental/beginner liner and a more advanced performance liner.
Plastic Buckles: The lightest and easiest to snap on buckles that Head produces.
