A Wonderful Upgrade for Your Bronco Bass!
Hello again from AxeMasters. We are happy to offer our brass nut for the short scale Bronco bass. There is an inherent problem with most bass guitars that is not generally known - the cheap plastic nut. Large diameter bass strings tend to cut into the nut slots. Take a look at your nut and you'll probably find the nut slots have deepened from string abrasion.
Every time you adjust the tuning, you saw-tooth the slot. Over time, this lowers the string and results in string "buzz." Well, a great way to solve this problem is to use a hard, brass nut. And musical brass is the perfect choice as it is tonally superior.
Our flat-bottom nut is hand ground and sanded from solid brass and round-slotted for perfect string placement. All hand-made - no machines. Very attractive brushed surface finish. Length 1.5", thickness .12", height .19"
