ELEGANT SOFT PEARL FINISH ON BLOWN MILK GLASS EWER, CHERUBIC SCENE, MINT

Description

This graceful ewer shaped vase was hand blown with a hand applied handle, given a soft pearl sheen finish and a handsome hand painted transfer design of two cupids/putta amidst a woodland scene. The tree and abstract forms surrounding the putta are hand brush applied with small gilt highlights.  The piece measures about 11" to the top of the pour spout.  There are no annealing cracks at the handle joints, no scratches on the painted image, no nicks or chips.  The red and gilt foot is without wear.
