  • Condition: CONDITION: This fabulous German Lizard on a Strawberry milk glass covered dish was made by Gebruder Von Streit. Gebruder Von Streit was located in Germany. This unusual item is in VERY GOOD CONDITION without large chips, cracks, or mold damage. There is some common minor roughness on the inner rim of the lid and bottom. We have taken very good photos of both of these areas so you can see for yourself. The piece was made circa 1913 and is considered to be very scarce. It is shown in a 1913 Gebruder Von Streit Glasfabrik (Glass Works) catalog. The lizard dish came in milk white, and turquoise. These jars are sometime found hand painted. If you collect rare covered jars this "Lizard on a Strawberry" is a must for your collection.
