This is a unique newspaper in that it's bi-lingual. It has Spanish on one side of the page and English on the other side of the page.  It was a very interesting period in modern Panamanian history.  The United States was trying to negotiate a treaty to have a military presence in Panama that extended beyond the Canal Zone and it caused a lot of tension in the country.  I have sold collectible newspapers and magazines for more than 20 years and this item is truly one of a kind.
