This is an issue of the Los Angeles Free Press from August of 1968. The LA Freep was one fo the best known counterculture newspapers , aka underground presss, and published regularly for years..It covered many concerns of the day, the various liberation and cultural movements that were happening , national ,international and local news, The War, the draft, the youth and psychedelic movements, Spirtuality, entertainment, a lot of incredible concert ads (it was LA after all) , from legendary venues,letters from readers, film, the sexual revoltion, classifieds and much more, with some top notch writers contributing.
