    Description
    The RST3 compound is a semi-metallic resin bonded material containing steel fibers. This compound has medium-high friction levels with a progressive torque that tapers at extreme temperatures. Initial bite is high and modulation is good. This is a common rear pad compound when combined with an RST1 front pad and you need the higher temperature range than the RST2 compound. Common applications include rally, stock car, or GT racing with lots of aero or where high temps are an issue.

    + progressive torque that peaks at 550°C
    + higher pad and disc wear compared to RSL pads
    + very high initial bite
    Front and rear brake compounds should be closely matched to maintain brake balance. Never upgrade one axle and not the other.
