    Description

    Here's an
    authentic
    PINK FLOYD
    ticket
    from 1968
at the Fillmore West, San Francisco
    .
This was the very early days with Syd Barrett and several years before David Gilmour came along.  The band members (including Gilmour) give Syd Barrett a lot of credit for the creation of their early psychedelic musical style.  He was the main driving force initially, the pioneer and founder.  This was following their first break out tour to the USA in 1967 and still new to the US.  This ticket was printed for the planned October 1967 shows, only those were cancelled as the band had visa issues to enter the country.  So, this ticket was likely used in the re-scheduled shows in early November.  Then, it was re-used in July 1968 right when the band was embarking on a new US tour.
The ticket measures roughly 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" and is in EX(-) condition, just very slight handling wear, some age related darkening and rubber stamp on the back .
