Large oversized soft cover bound book contains 208 newspaper type pages filled with photos, ads and history of Stamford including men of note, the wars, soldiers, maps, folklore and legends including the Leatherman, historical facts, people and places of distinction, city courts, judges, police, fire, telephone history, long forgotten homes and buildings, bridges, banks, hotels, schools, factories, business, disasters, manufacturing goods and services, local advertising and much more..also includes a separate original parade route listing for the 300 year celebration that was laying inside and has a price of 5 cents. In very good condition. A few small tears here and there on a few of the pages inside and a couple minor tears on the bottom and side of the cover. Binding is excellent. The cover and pages inside are clean and clear..no stains, soil or writing.  Interesting book.
