    For sale are a pair of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area newspapers from 1945 with iconic WWII-era headlines.
    First paper: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette from August 15, 1945
    Headline: “WAR IS OVER”

    Second paper: Pittsburgh Sun-Telegraph from September 2, 1945
    Headline: “JAPS SIGN SURRENDER”
    10-page front section only
    Both papers in comparable, decent condition. Some age coloring, some dirt, small tears and imperfections. Some edge wear. See pictures! Papers were kept folded in half for many years so will be shipped that way (as they appear in final picture).
