Whiting Sterling LOUIS XV (1891) Flat Handle BUTTER SPREADER-Mono SWE-NR

Description

For sale is a flat butter spreader in the LOUIS XV pattern by Whiting, introduced in 1891.  The piece is 5 3/4 inches long and weighs 20 grams. It is monogrammed “S.W.E.” on the handle front.  The knife is marked with the Whiting trademark, "STERLING", "PAT. 1891" and “DAN’L LOW & Co.” as shown.
Condition on the spreader is good.  There is just normal wear.  A nice old place piece!
